National Primary Care Week was October 4–8, 2021, and ACOFP highlighted members’ stories on choosing family medicine. Hear from them directly and share your own #WhyDOFamMed story.
Each year, ACOFP partners with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Student Association to promote National Primary Care Week (NPCW) , an annual event for celebrating and highlighting the importance of primary care. This year’s celebration took place October 4–8, 2021.
To support this initiative and showcase family medicine as a pathway to medical students, we reached out to ACOFP members and asked them to share why they chose family medicine—and they answered! Check out some of their responses below.
